Uluwatu, Bali Indonesia
This was my last stop on my trip to Bali with two friends I had made from Switzerland. We first met a week prior at the surf camp we were staying at. It was an instant bonding of family that was very much mutual on all sides.
A perfect blend of three travelers solidified through organic merging of common vibes. We made arrangements to meet up here for all of our last fews days on the Island of the Gods. A given name well deserved for a place I was blessed to witness the power of and experience for the first time in my life. Time standing still.
As we enjoyed our spring rolls and views of surfers crushing waves from the cliff we sat upon, the golden rays of the sunset performed a magic show ahead in the landscape of the sky. The assortment of warm colours kissed our tanned skin which complimented the company of new friends.
What was only minutes of silence basking in the aura of the sun, felt like an eternity of bliss. For a moment, I forgot where I was because I was completely mesmerized by nature’s send off for the day. Calmness won over any thoughts and allowed me to live in that moment at peace in limbo between heaven and earth. I believe heaven’s golden gates gave me a peak that day and reminded me my time on this earth has much more to offer.
